I am going to be wiring up my loudspeakers. Each has a 12" sub, mid, tweeter, and a 3-way crossover. I need to figure out the best wire gauge to run from the binding posts to the crossover, then from the crossover to each driver. The wire from the binding posts to the crossover will be about 8" long, and then about 12" long from the crossover to each driver. Here are the drivers I will be using:
Woofer: JL Audio 12W1v2-8
Power: 50-200W (rms)
Impedance: 8 ohms
Midrange: Dayton ND140-8 5-1/4" Aluminum Cone Midbass
Power: 40W (rms)
Impedance: 8 ohms
Tweeter: Dayton DC28FS-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Shielded Tweeter
Power: 50W (rms), 75W max
Impedance: 8 ohms
These are home audio/music loudspeakers. Thanks!
